Lenore & "Namako"

"Namako" is the name we've given to the latest addition of our family... for now.  "Ko" is a standard ending for Japanese names and it means "child".  You often hear it in names like "Keiko," "Hiroko," and "Sachiko." "Nama" means "raw." So, in a way we are calling this the "raw child," but it must be noted that "namako" also means "sea cucumber," which was what we figured it looked like at the time, being all slimy and wormy-looking.
