Cake Fight!
The western portion of the wedding had us in traditional Western Clothes,
a Church-like ceremony, the kiss, and of course the cake! As
well as a point when things got a little messy... (^.^) We
had a large tiered cake for 100 people which was strawberry shortcake with
fresh whipped cream, and Ezekiel's mother, Marcia, made cake for the other
100 guests which was chocolate with fresh whipped cream and a brandy
raspberry cream filling. Japanese people had never seen this part
of a wedding before, where the couple feeds cake to one another.
We like to think that all of our guests, foreign and Japanese alike,
came away with something new from our wedding.
